When is the Ice Ball? What time does the Ice Ball start?

Doors open at 6:30pm on New Years Eve, 12/31/2016.
The entrance will be on Franklin and Genesee Street, across from the Convention Center.

How much are tickets to the Ice Ball?

Early Bird pricing is available for a limited time, with tickets starting from $115.00 per person (depending on room).

What's Included with my Ice Ball ticket?

Ticket holders will receive 5 hours of premium open bar, plenty of excellent food (not just hors d'oeuvres!), a champagne toast, amazing live music, 4 rooms with dining, party favors, and much more!
There will be seating for everyone!
All ticket holders are entitled to FREE parking at the Turner Ramp next to City Hall on Niagara Circle, FREE coat check, and more!

I placed an order. How do I get my tickets?

Tickets will be mailed until 12/15. After that, all tickets will be held will call at our box office.

Statler City Box Office Hours:

December 30th - Until 7pm
December 31st - 12pm - 6:30pm (event start time)

How many tickets will be sold this year?

Ticket sales will be limited to 1500, to prevent overcrowding.

What's the entertainment line-up?

This year the Ice Ball will feature entertainment from Boys of Summer, Big City Horns, Jeff Toy from Toy Brothers, and more TBA!

When will dinner be served?

The time dinner will be served depends on the room you are seated in. Each room's food service will run 1 hour.
Food Service Schedule:
Terrace Room - 8:00pm
Golden Ballroom / Golden Balcony - 8:30pm
Georgian Room / Mezzanine - 9:00pm
There will also be late night food to follow desert.

Will there be an open bar? If so, how many bars will be available?

Yes. There will be multiple bars set up throughout the space, with premium open bar lasting from 8:00 pm until 1:00 am. In addition, every table in the Golden Ballroom and Terrace Room will have their own server and there will be service bars available.

What will the seating be like?

There will be guaranteed seating for all.

To best accommodate seating requests please purchase your group's tickets in the same transaction.

If you would like to be seated at the same table with friends who have already purchased tickets, please email your full name, order number, and requested table number to We will do our best to seat you together. However, to ensure your group is seated together, please purchase tickets for your entire group in a single transaction.

Please note: Unless your group fills an entire table, you may be seated with other Statler City Ice Ball guests.

What entrance do I use?

The Franklin and Genesse St. entrance (across from the Convention Center) will be used for the Statler City Ice Ball.

What areas of Statler City does my Ice Ball ticket get me in to?

Ice Ball ticket-holders will have access to all venues within Statler City, with the exception of the Niagara Room, which will be holding a separate New Year's Eve celebration, for those looking for more of a nightclub experience. Click here for more details.

Seating will be assigned by room, but guests are free to visit the other rooms to mingle, dance, etc..

Will there be VIP tickets available?

No, There will be no VIP tickets sold this year.

What is the dress code?

What would you wear to the party of the year? Dress to impress! Black tie is optional. No sneakers, T-shirts, baggy jeans, etc.. You will feel completely at home in your finest look.

Are there age restrictions?

Absolutely. No one under 21 will be admitted, even with a parent or guardian.
If there is any question at all, those without appropriate ID will be turned away regardless of their ticket status.

Is there parking nearby?

Free indoor parking will be provided for ticket-holders at Turner Ramp next to City Hall.
The ramp will be attended all night, so cars may be left overnight and picked up the next morning if needed.

Will there be a coat check?

Yes, there is coat check available throughout the evening. Coat check will be expanded this year, and in a more accessible location.

Only coats will be checked. Please leave any umbrellas, hats, etc.. in your vehicle.

Is there an indoor smoking area provided?

In recognition of the historic status of the Statler and city building codes, there are no smoking areas anywhere within the building.
Smokers will have in-and-out access.

Can tickets be ordered online and mailed to Canada?

Canadian ticket orders may be ordered online, but must be held at our box office for pickup, or mailed to an address in the USA.
